TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No. 54) Order 2013” authorising the stopping up of a network of highways bounded by Freemantle Close, Taverner Close, Westray Close, Silvester Close and the playing field to the east, a length of unnamed footpath to the east of no’s 30-37 Norn Hill and two northern part widths of Taverner Close at Basingstoke in the Borough of Basingstoke and Deane to enable development as permitted by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, under reference BDB/76932.
COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7AR (quoting NATTRAN/SE/S247/888) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Oakridge Post Office, 2 Oakridge Centre, Basingstoke, RG21 5LG.
ANY PERSON aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 5 December 2013 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
