AMENDMENT TO PARKING PLACES AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF DOCKING STATIONS FOR THE LONDON CYCLE HIRE SCHEME

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth with the agreement of Transport for London proposes to make the following Orders under section 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004:—

The Wandsworth (Battersea) (Parking Places) (No.-) Order 20—

The Wandsworth (Battersea Park) (Parking Places) (No.-) Order 20—

The Wandsworth (Clapham Junction) (Parking Places) (No.-) Traffic Order 20—

The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. -) Order 20—

  • 2 The general effect of the Orders would be to amend parking places or introduce waiting restrictions as described in the table below in connection with the placement of cycle docking stations for the leaving at any time of pedal cycles used for the London cycle hire scheme.
Road Name Proposed change
Albert Bridge Road Extend the shared use (permit holder/pay and display) parking bay adjacent to the flank wall of Nos. 31 to 40 Park Mansions, Prince of Wales Drive, by 3 metres in length.
Battersea Church Road Reduce the length of the shared use (permit holder/pay and display) parking bay adjacent to Dimson Hall, No. 141 Battersea Church Road by 6 metres.
Culvert Road Introduce a 27 metre length of double yellow lines opposite Nos. 101 to 103 Culvert Road.
Vicarage Crescent Reduce the shared use (permit holder/pay and display) parking bay on the south side of Vicarage Crescent nearest the junction with Lombard Road by 2.5 metres in length and extend the adjacent shared use (permit holder/pay and display) parking bay on the south side of Vicarage Crescent by 1 metre.
  • 3 Plans showing the locations of the changes are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.
