1. This notice relates to the land within the Parishes/communities of Great Packington within the North Warwickshire Borough Council, Meriden and Berkswell within the Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council of the County of Warwickshire indicated on the plan reference UKC 38/016 which is deposited at the offices of UK Coal Mining Ltd at Harworth Park, Blyth Road, Harworth, Doncaster DN11 8DB. The plan is available for inspection by appointment with Mr J J Hind (Telephone 01302 755230) between the hours of 10.00 am and 4.00 pm on Monday to Friday, except public holidays.

2. UK Coal Mining Ltd whose registered office is at Harworth Park, Blyth Road, Harworth, Doncaster DN11 8DB is authorised by a licence under Part II of the Coal Industry Act 1994 and has the approval of the Coal Authority for the giving of a notice relating to the land in question.

3. UK Coal Mining Ltd hereby give notice that there are proposals to carry out coal mining operations which may require the exercise in relation to the land indicated on the plan referred to in paragraph 1 of this notice of such a right as is mentioned in Section 38(1) of the Coal Industry Act 1994 namely to withdraw support from any land to which Section 38 applies.
