NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday 15th April 2009 the London Borough of Redbridge made an Order under sections 45, 46, 49, 124 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers.

The effect of the amendment is to introduce additional pay and display bays along certain roads within the Borough (as shown in Schedule 2), and to amend the lengths and/or positions of existing pay and display bays (as shown in Schedule 1). The locations affected by these changes are set out in the Schedules below.

A copy of the proposed Order, which will come into operation on Monday 20th April 2009, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) for a period of six weeks from the date on which this notice is published, at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NN until Thursday 28th May 2009.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
