HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116

HIGHWAY DIVERSION BETWEEN GAINSFORD ROAD AND BRYANSTON ROAD IN SOUTHAMPTON, COUNTY OF HAMPSHIRE

Take notice that the Southampton City Council intend to apply to the Southampton Magistrates Court under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 for the diversion of part of the highway between Gainsford Road and Bryanston Road, Southampton.

The application is to be heard on the 13th May 2009 at 10am in the Southampton Magistrates’ Court sitting at 100 The Avenue, Southampton.

The effect of the Order sought will be to divert part of the unnamed highway being a footpath between Gainsford Road and Bryanston Road as shown on the plan for a distance of approximately 16 metres.

The plan may be inspected free of charge at the reception of Legal Services, Southampton City Council, Southbrook Rise, 4-8 Millbrook Road East, Southampton SO15 1YG between the hours of 9.00am to 4.00pm on weekdays (excluding Saturdays).
