NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, sections 63 – 87 inclusive and Schedules 6 and 7 of the Road Traffic Act 1991 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to:—

(a) introduce Waiting and Loading Restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) introduce Disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(c) introduce Loading bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(d) introduce a Pay and Display and Residents Parking scheme as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Leisure Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/471 not later than 4th July 2007.

Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

Schedule:—

WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting At Any Time:—

BURNT ASH LANE, Bromley, (a) the south east and east sides, from a point 6m north east of the party wall of Nos. 136 & 136a north eastwards to a point 3m south of the southern boundary of No. 152; (b) the north west and west sides, from the party wall of Nos. 71 & 73 north eastwards to the southern flank wall of Wells House.

No Waiting between 8.00am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive:—

BURNT ASH LANE, Bromley, the north west and west sides, from a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 152 & 154 southwards to the southern flank wall of Wells House.

No Waiting between 8.30am and 6.30pm Mondays to Saturdays inclusive:—

DEEPDALE AVENUE, Bromley, (a) the south west side, (i) from the south eastern kerbline of Westmoreland Road south eastwards to the common boundary of Nos. 2 & 4; (ii) from the north western kerbline of Tall Elms Close north westwards for a distance of 20m; (b) the north east side, from the south eastern kerbline of Westmoreland Road south eastwards for a distance of 17m.

LANGHAM PARK PLACE, Bromley, (a) the south west side, from the south eastern kerbline of Westmoreland Road south eastwards for a distance of 10m; (b) the north east side, from the south eastern kerbline of Westmoreland Road south eastwards for a distance of 12m.

TALL ELMS CLOSE, Bromley, the north west side, from the south western kerbline of Deepdale Avenue south westwards to the common boundary of Nos. 2 & 4.

WESTMORELAND ROAD, Bromley, both sides, from a point 1.5m north east of the common boundary of Nos. 24a & 26 south westwards to a point 1m north east of the north eastern boundary of No. 55.

No Waiting and No Loading between 8.00am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive:—

BURNT ASH LANE, Bromley, the south east and east sides, from a point 1m north east of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 87 & 89 north eastwards to a point 6m north east of the party wall of Nos. 136 & 136a.

No Loading At Any Time:—

BURNT ASH LANE, Bromley, (a) the north west and west side, from a point 2m south west of the north eastern flank wall of No. 95 north eastwards to a point 15m north of the southern boundary of Burnt Ash Heights; (b) the south east and east side, from a point 20m north of the north western kerbline of New Street Hill southwards to a point 6m north east of the party wall of Nos. 136 & 136a.

PARKING BAYS

Pay and Display parking between 8.30am – 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. 30p per hour – 2 hour maximum stay. Permit holders may park during the permitted hours with no additional charge:—

BURNT ASH LANE, Bromley, (a) the north west side, (i) from a point 1m north east of the party wall of Nos. 87 & 89 north eastwards for a distance of 15m. (3 parking spaces); (ii) from a point 3m north east of the south western flank wall of No. 97 north eastwards to a point 1m south west of the party wall of Nos. 125 & 127. (13 parking spaces); (iii) from a point 3m north east of a point opposite the north eastern flank wall of No. 144 south westwards for a distance of 24m. (4 parking spaces); (b) the south east side, from a point 1m south west of the south western boundary of No. 136 south westwards for a distance of 16m. (3 parking spaces).

Permit Holders Only parking:—

BURNT ASH LANE, Bromley, the south east side, from a point 6m north east of the party wall of Nos. 136 & 136a south westwards for a distance of 10m. (2 parking spaces)

Disabled Parking Bay – at any time – 3 hours maximum stay:—

BURNT ASH LANE, Bromley, (a) the north west side, (i) outside Nos. 73 & 75 (2 parking spaces); (ii) outside Lloyd House. (2 parking spaces); (b) the south east side, outside St. Andrews House (1 parking space).

Loading Bay – 8.00am - 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive – 1 hour maximum waiting time. No return within 2 hours. - Goods Vehicles Only:—

BURNT ASH LANE, Bromley, (a) the north west side, from a point 2m south west of the north eastern flank wall of No. 95 south westwards for a distance of 10m; (b) the south east side, from a point 1m north east of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 87 & 89 north eastwards for a distance of 10m.
