RELATING TO GRANGE ROAD AND OVERTON ROAD, SUTTON

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.
2. The principal objectives of the Orders are to relocate a parking place from the east side of Overton Road to the west side as an extension to an existing parking place, and to prevent obstructive parking in Grange Road in the vicinity of vehicular accesses to a new development.
3. The general effect of The Sutton (Free Parking Places) (Grange Road Area) (No. *) (Amendment No. *) Order 200* will be to—

(a) revoke a parking place on the east side of Overton Road, Sutton outside Nos. 9 to 20 “Lorac Court” (to be replaced with single yellow line “no waiting between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. on Mondays to Fridays”); and
(b) extend the length of a parking place on the west side of Overton Road opposite Nos. 9 to 20 “Lorac Court”.

4. The general effect of The Sutton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (No. *) (Amendment No. *) Order 200* will be to introduce waiting restrictions “no waiting at any time” on the north side of Grange Road, Sutton outside No. 62.

5. Full details of the proposals are contained in the following documents:

(a) the draft Orders;
(b) a plan showing the location and extents of the proposals; and
(c) the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders.

These may be examined at:

Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, between 9am - 5pm Mon - Fri; and
Environment and Leisure, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton, between 9am - 1pm Mon, Wed and Fri; and 1pm - 4pm Tues and Thurs.

7. If you wish to object to the proposed Orders you should send a statement in writing, including the grounds for your objection and quoting the Reference FR570 or WL572 to the address in the following paragraph by Wednesday 17 January 2007.

9. Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be made aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received in response to this Notice open to public inspection, if requested.
