PUBLIC NOTICE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A1202 CURTAIN ROAD, A1202 GREAT EASTERN STREET, HOLYWELL LANE, A501 OLD STREET AND A10 SHOREDITCH HIGH STREET GLA ROAD (LONDON BOROUGH OF HACKNEY) RED ROUTE TRAFFIC ORDER 2003 VARIATION ORDER 2006
1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 23 June 2006, it made the above-named Order, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 30 June 2006.
2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to:
(1) Alter the operational times of the loading boxes on the A1202 Curtain Road from “10.00 am to 4.00 pm” to “7.00 am to 7.00 pm” on any day.
(2) Alter the operational times of the loading boxes on the A1202 Great Eastern Road, from “10.00 am to 4.00 pm” to “7.00 am to 7.00 pm” on any day.
(3) Alter the operational times of the loading boxes on the A10 Shoreditch High Street, from “10.00 am to 4.00 pm” to “7.00 am to 7.00 pm” on any day.
3. The roads which would be affected by the Order are (1) A1202 Curtain Road, (2) A1202 Great Eastern Road, and (3) A10 Shoreditch High Street.
4. A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of:
Transport for London, Streets TRO Team, (SPST/RND), 84 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1PX; and London Borough of Hackney, Traffic and Transportation Team, Regulatory Services, Dorothy Hodgkin House, 12 Reading Lane, London E8 1HJ.
5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
