NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO RENEW A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that J W Smith & Co of Henham Lodge, Henham, Bishop Stortford, Hertfordshire CM22 6BG, is applying to the Environment Agency to renew Licence No 6/33/27/G/121 which authorises the abstraction of water from a borehole at National Grid Ref TL 544 293. The application seeks no change to the current licence with abstraction rates of 9.09, 218.2 and 13.600 cubic metres per hour, day and year respectively. The use of the water is to maintain water levels in an adjacent reservoir/lake for environmental and amenity purposes. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Henham Lodge, Henham, Bishop Stortford, Hertfordshire CM22 6BG, between 20 May 2003 and 18 June 2003 and an appointment should be made on 01279 850252. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing at the Environment Agency, Water Resources Section, Environment Agency—Anglian Region, Central Area, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon, Cambridge PE28 4NE, before the end of the said period quoting the name of the applicant.
