PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER SECTION II OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1990, PART I
INTEGRATED POLLUTION CONTROL
Notice is hereby given that Fibropower Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a variation to an existing Integration Pollution Control (IPC) authorisation AF8033 to operate a Combustion process at Fibropower Limited, Eye Power Station, Eye, Suffolk IP23 7DH, in the District of Mid Suffolk Council in the County of Suffolk. The above application for variation proposes to co-combust poultry litter and clean biomass fuels (the existing fuels) with up to 10% poultry feathers, both poultry litter and poultry feathers being by-products from the poultry meat industry. Information relating to the above IPC application for variation is held in registers at the following locations: Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Kingfisher House, Goldhay Way, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough PE2 5ZR; and Mid Suffolk District Council, Council Offices, 131 High Street, Needham Market, Suffolk IP6 8DL. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice: The Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich IP3 9JE. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request. In this case there will be included in the register a statement indicating only that representations have been made which have been the subject of such a request.
