I hereby give notice that it has been certified to me in writing under the hands of two Members of the House of Commons, in the manner required by the Recess Elections Act 1975 that Clifford Forsythe Esquire, Member of Parliament for the County Constituency of South Antrim died on the 27th day of April 2000. Accordingly, pursuant to the said Act, I shall issue my Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown for Northern Ireland to make out a New Writ for the Election of a Member to serve as Member of Parliament for the County Constituency of South Antrim in the place of the said Clifford Forsythe Esquire, at the end of six days after the insertion of this notice in The Belfast Gazette.
