STOPPING-UP OF AREAS OF HIGHWAY AT BELLOWS PARK, BRIXTON, IN THE COUNTY OF DEVON
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Devon) (No. SW4) Order 1999” authorising the stopping-up of areas of highway at Bellows Park, Brixton, in the county of Devon, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule and requiring the provision of areas of new highway.
It should be noted that the Schedule to the Order has been amended so that the stopping-up is now described as 10 areas (A-J). It should also be noted that the relevant plan attached to the Order has been amended, to show area J to be stopped-up as a smaller area.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West (Decisions Team), 4th Floor, The Pithay, Bristol BS1 2PB (quoting Ref. GOSW(T)5051/ 35/1/311) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Devon County Council, Ivybridge Local Service Group, Cornwood Road, Ivybridge, Devon.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 10th December 1999 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
