PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1990 PART I
INTEGRATED POLLUTION CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that British Aluminium Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a substantial variation to an Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) authorisation to operate an aluminium process at Southam Road, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX16 7SN, in Cherwell District in the county of Oxfordshire. Information relating to the above IPC application for substantial variation of the authorisation to operate the aluminium melting and casting process is held in registers in the following locations: The Environment Agency: J. Liney, Environment Agency, Kings Meadow House, Kings Meadow Road, Reading RG1 8DQ; Cherwell District Council: G. Helm, Environmental Health Department, Cherwell District Council, Bodicote House, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX15 4AA. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours, in addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections to the above IPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice.
