THE BARNET (MOTORCYCLE PARKING PLACES) (NO. ) ORDER 199
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general effect of The Barnet (Motorcycle Parking Places) Order 199 will be to introduce parking bays for motorcycles as specified in Schedule 1 to this notice. A copy of the proposed Order, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from that date on which the notice is published at: (a) Traffic Section Room 1006, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ; and (b) The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the London Borough of Barnet (Traffic Section), 0181 359 4330 or 4331. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send their objections in writing to the Acting Chief Highways Officer (Traffic Section), London Borough of Barnet, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ, to be received no later than 5th November 1999. Schedule 1 Motorcycle parking place in which a motorcycle may be left, free of charge, during the hours of 9 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, any such day not being Christmas day, Good Friday or a bank holiday. High Road, N.2, south-west side, from a point 5 metres north-west of the south-eastern flank wall of No. 87 High Road N.2, north-westwards for a distance 9.5 metres. High Road, N.2, north-east side, from a point 7 metres north-west of the northern extended kerb-line of Bedford Road, north-westwards for a distance of 6 metres.
