ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A16 TRUNK ROAD (SIBSEY, LINCOLNSHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 199

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) and 4(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on a length of the A16 trunk road at Sibsey in Lincolnshire.
The effect of the Order would be to prohibit waiting on the west side of the trunk road between points 10 and 54 metres north of its junction with the B1184 (Frithville Road). Exemptions would be provided in the Order for disabled persons and to allow waiting for loading or unloading goods and to attend wedding or funeral services.
A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and a statement of the Secretary of State’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Lincolnshire County Council, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln; East Lindsey District Council, Tedder Hall, Manby Park, Laith, Lincolnshire, or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Network and Customer Services (Midland), Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL.
Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should write to the Highways Agency at the above address stating the grounds of objection not later than 11th June 1999, quoting Ref. HA 41/5/19.
