NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Brinkman Brother Ltd, of Walton Farm Nurseries, Walton Lane, Bosham, Chichester, West Sussex PO18 8QD, is apply to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from upper chalk at National Grid Reference SU 8164 0465 at Walton Farm Nurseries, Walton Lane, Bosham, Chichester, West Sussex PO18 8QD. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 36.4 cubic metres per hour, 546 cubic metres per day, 45,454 cubic metres (per year), between 1st November and 31st March each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Waton Farm Nurseries between 19th January 1999 and 18th February 1999. Any person who wishes to make representation about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Sussex Area Office, Saxon House, Little High Street, Worthing, West Sussex BN11 1DH, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
