The Islington (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 8) Traffic Management Order 1998

Relating to—Balls Pond Place, Balls Pond Road, Beresford Road, Boleyn Road, Border Road, Bride Street, Ferntower Road, Kingsbury Road, Kingsland Green, Liverpool Road, Matthias Road, Mildmay Park, Mildmay Place, Mildmay Road, Mildmay Street, Northampton Grove, Petherton Road, Roman Way, St. Paul’s Place, Sheringham Road, Tileyard Road, Vale Royal and Wheelwright Street. Notice is hereby given that the Islington Borough Council, on 8th June 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.   2. The general effect of the Order will be to amend the existing and/or introduce additional Waiting and Loading Restrictions in certain parts of the above-named streets.   3. A copy of the Order, of plans indicating details of the measures referred to in paragraph 2 above, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected during normal office hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made at The Legal Department, Town Hall, Upper Street, Islington, London N1 2UD. Please ask for reference LE/C/HGF.   4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Hugh Forde on 0171-477 3301.   5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, or that any of the regulations made thereunder, have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date of which the Order was made, make application for these purposes to the High Court.
