ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL BO’NESS HARBOUR BRIDGE SCHEME 2006

Notice is hereby given that Falkirk Council propose to make a Scheme under Section 75(3) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, the general effect of which is to provide for the construction of a lifting bridge as part of a public road over the navigable waters at the entrance to the inner harbour at Bo’ness Harbour.

The title of this Scheme is The Falkirk Council Bo’ness Harbour Bridge Scheme 2006.

Copies of the proposed Scheme and of the accompanying drawings showing the route of the proposed bridge together with a statement of the general effect of the Scheme have been deposited at the following locations:

1.  Development Services office in Abbotsford House, David’s Loan, Falkirk FK2 7YZ

2.  Bo’ness Library, Scotland’s Close, Bo’ness EH51 0AH

These documents are available for inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours, for a period of six weeks from 1 May 2006.

Any person may, within six weeks from 1 May 2006 object to the making of the Scheme by notice in writing to the Scottish Executive, Enterprise Transport and Lifelong Learning Department, Bus, Freight and Road Division, Area 2-D, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh EH6 6QQ. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
