POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

In accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 4 to the above Regulations, Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for a Permit under regulation 7 of the Regulations, by Grampian Waste Water Services Ltd in respect of activities being carried out, namely, the burning of biogas in a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Engine, a Steam Boiler, a Thermal Oxidiser and a Waste Gas Burner, at Nigg Waste Water Treatment Plant, Coast Road, Nigg, Aberdeen, AB12 3LT.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

The application may be inspected, tree of charge, at SEPA, Greyhope House, Greyhope Road, Torry, Aberdeen, AB11 9RD during normal office hours. Please quote Reference No. PPC/N/20015.

Written representation concerning this application may be made to SEPA at the above address, or sent to e-mail address AberdeenRegistry@sepa.org.uk and if received within 28 days of this Notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which has been the subject of such a request.
