Notice of Application for a Submarine Pipe-line Works Authorisation

Shell UK Limited hereby gives notice on behalf of itself, Esso Exploration and Production UK Limited, Centrica Resources Limited, Paladin Expro Limited and Petro-Canada U.K., in accordance with the provisions of Part I of Schedule 2 to the Petroleum Act 1998 that it has made an application to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry for the grant of an authorisation for the construction and use of a system of pipe-lines between St Fergus and the Goldeneye platform (to be located approximately 100 km NE of St Fergus).

A map (or maps) delineating the route of the proposed pipe-lines and providing certain further information may be inspected free of charge at the places listed in the Schedule to this notice from 10am to 4pm on each weekday from the date that this notice is published until the date mentioned in the next paragraph of this notice.

Pursuant to a direction of the Secretary of State, representations with respect to the application may be made in writing and addressed to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry at the Oil and Gas Office, Atholl House, 86-88 Guild Street, Aberdeen, AB11 6AR (marked FAO Mrs Carol Campbell, Offshore Pipeline Authorisations) not later than Tuesday, 8th April 2003 and should bear the reference “RDBC/001/00160C” and state the grounds upon which the representations are made.
