Abandonment Order

The Department for Regional Development gives notice of its proposal to make an order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, the effect of which would be to abandon 84.72 square metres of road adjacent to No. 14 Larchwood Avenue, Banbridge, after the completion of such works as the Department considers necessary for the provision of alternative facilities for road traffic.

The area of road and footway proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map which, together with a copy of a draft Order, may be inspected by any person free of charge at all reasonable hours during the period from 21 July 2009 to 9 September 2009 at the Department’s Roads Service offices, Headquarters, Room 213, Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8GB and Southern Division, Marlborough House, Central Way, Craigavon, BT64 1AD and Banbridge Section Office, Road Service, 45 Newry Street, Banbridge, BT32 3EA.

Any person may within the period above object to the proposal by written notice to Roads Service Southern Division, Marlborough House at the address above stating the grounds of objection.
