Notice is hereby given that on 20 February 2023, a Petition was presented to the Sheriff of Glasgow and Strathkelvin at Glasgow by Lord Stewart of Dirleton K.C. the Advocate General for Scotland for and on behalf of the Commissioners for His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, 4th Floor, Queen Elizabeth House, 1 Sibbald Walk, Edinburgh, EH8 8FT for inter alia an Order under the Insolvency Act 1986 to wind up Morton’s Rolls Limited (company number SC351766) having its registered office at 2 Allerdyce Road, Great Western Retail Park, Glasgow, G15 6RX (the “Company”) and to appoint an Interim Liquidator, in which Petition the Sheriff by Interlocutor dated 07 March 2023 appointed Notice of the Import of the Petition and of the deliverance, and of the particulars specific in the Act of Sederunt to be advertised once in the Edinburgh Gazette and once in the Herald newspaper; ordained any persons interested, if they intend to show cause why the prayer of the Petition should not be granted, to lodge Answers thereto in the hands of the Sheriff Clerk at Glasgow within 8 days after such intimation, service or advertisement, under certification; eo die nominated and appointed Stuart Charles Robb, Insolvency Practitioner of FRP Advisory Trading Limited, Level 2, The Beacon, 176 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5SG to be Provisional Liquidator of the Company and authorised him to exercise the powers contained in paragraphs 4 and 5 of Part II of Schedule 4 to the Insolvency Act 1986 for a limited period of 3 months from 7 March 2023 or until the appointment of an Interim Liquidator to the said Company; all of which Notice is hereby given.
