THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2017
NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 21 (1)
The proposed development at Douglasmuir Quarry, Stockiemuir Road, Bearsden is subject to environmental impact assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017.

Notice is hereby given that an environmental impact assessment report (EIA report) has been submitted to East Dunbartonshire Council by Tarmac Trading Limited relating to the planning application in respect of Extension of extraction into area South West of the existing quarry.
Possible decisions relating to the planning application are:–
(i) approval of application without conditions;
(ii) approval of application with conditions;
(iii) refuse permission.
A copy of the EIA report and any other documents submitted with the application may be inspected online at www.eastdunbarton.gov.uk/residents/planning/planning-applications/planning-applications-search and can also be viewed electronically at the following locations:-
• Milngavie Community Library and Education Centre, Allander Road, Milngavie G62 8PN
• Bearsden Library, 69 Drymen Road, Bearsden, G61 3QT
between the hours of 10:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Thursday (excluding public holidays), or 10.00am to 5.00pm Friday and Saturday during the period of 28 days beginning with the date of this notice.
Copies of the EIA report may be purchased from Tarmac Trading Limited at a cost of £15 for an electronic copy and £250 for a printed copy these can be requested from Tarmac at the following address;

Any person who wishes to make representations to East Dunbartonshire Council about the further information should make them in writing within that period to the Head of Planning and Building Standards at Broomhill Depot, Kilsyth Road, Kirkintilloch, G66 1TF or by email to planning@eastdunbarton.gov.uk, or online at www.eastdunbarton.gov.uk/residents/planning/planning-applications/comment-or-object within 30 days from the date of this notice.
