The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017”, (S.R. 2017 No. 41), which comes into operation on 22 March 2017.

The rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting in Antrim, Belfast and Londonderry. All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.

The rule will also remove parking places with unlimited waiting in Belfast.
