PROPOSED STOPPING UP OF LENGTH OF OLD A12, UFFORD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application will be made to the Justices sitting at the Ipswich Magistrates’ Court, Suffolk, on 15 October 2007 at 2.15 p.m. The application will be for an order that the length of the old A12 road at Ufford, between the A12 at Grove Farm and the B1438, be stopped up with the reservation of a public bridleway over part of its width (described below). The application will be made on the grounds that this length of highway is unnecessary other than for bridleway use.

A plan showing the highway proposed to be stopped up and the reserved bridleway may be inspected free of charge at the address below, 8.00am-6.00pm Monday to Friday. This plan may also be inspected at Woodbridge Library, New Street, Woodbridge, 9:30am - 7:30pm Tuesday; 9:00am - 5:30pm Wednesday and Thursday; 9:00am - 7:30pm Friday; 9:30am - 5:00pm Saturday; and 10:00am - 4:00pm on Sunday.
