THE REDBRIDGE (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO 1) ORDER 2006
BROOMFIELD ROAD, GREEN LANE, GOODMAYES LANE AND GOODMAYES ROAD WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, on 16 January 2006, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. 2. The effect of the waiting Order would be to further amend the Redbridge (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1993, so as to introduce waiting and loading restrictions operative “at any time” on the lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this notice. Details of exemptions from the restrictions for certain vehicles and persons, together with restrictions on selling or advertising in a restricted street are contained in the original Order of 1993. 3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 23 January 2006, of the Order being amended and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, together with plans showing the locations may be inspected between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays (9.30 am to 4.30 pm on Wednesdays), until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NN. 4. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Schedule Broomhill Road, the west side, between the southern kerbline of Green Lane and a point 5.50 metres south of that kerbline. Goodmayes Lane, both sides, between the southern kerbline of Green Lane and a point 2.40 metres north of the common boundary of Nos 1 and 3 Goodmayes Lane, including the 2 island sides at the junction with Green Lane. Goodmayes Road, both sides, between the northern kerbline of Green Lane and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 112 and 114 Goodmayes Road. Green Lane: (a) the north side, between a point 33.30 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Granton Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 612 and 614 Green Lane; (b) the south side, between the western kerbline of Goodmayes Lane and the western kerbline of Broomhill Road. 19 January 2006.
