NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SCHEDULE 10 (AS AMENDED BY THE ENVIRONMENT ACT 1995)
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995), that an application has been made to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, by Kenwick Park Hotel Ltd and Kenwick Park Golf Club plc, for consent to discharge 55 cubic metres per day of fully treated sewage and trade effluent from Kenwick Park Hotel Ltd and Kenwick Park Golf Club plc, Kenwick Park, Louth, Lincolnshire into a tributary of the Long Eau at National Grid Ref TF 3467 8490. The existing discharge consent is for 28.5 cubic metres per day. This application relates to an increase of 26.5 cubic metres per day. The increase results from the diversion of another existing discharge at this site, which was previously made to soakaway. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Team Leader, Regulatory Water Quality (Northern Area), Environment Agency, Waterside House, Waterside North, Lincoln LN2 5HA, to arrive not later than 15 April 2005, quoting Ref No PRNNF/12915A (Ref 18322). A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the Environment Agency, Guy Gibson Hall, Manby Park, Louth, Lincolnshire LN11 8UR, at all reasonable hours. The Environment Agency is committed to maintaining and, where possible, improving water quality. If, after full consideration of this application and any representations made by interested parties, it is decided that consent can be given, then conditions will be imposed to ensure that the effluent receives treatment before discharge to the receiving waters so that the above aims are met.
