BURIAL ACT 1853

Notice is hereby given that representations have been made to Her Majesty in Council by the Secretary of State for the Home Department that burials should be discontinued in the following places of burial and that Her Majesty in Council was pleased on 22nd June 1999 to order that such representations be taken into account by a Committee of the Privy Council on 17th August 1999: 1. The Churchyard of St. Mary the Virgin, Stoke Mandeville, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire; 2. Merther Churchyard, Merther, St. Michael Penkivel, Cornwall; 3. The remainder of All Saints Churchyard, Dovercourt, Harwich, Essex; 4. St. Peter’s Churchyard, Gunton, Lowestoft, Suffolk; 5. St. James’ Churchyard, Ludgershall, Wiltshire.
