The Gazette research service

Research keyboardWe want you to be able to find exactly what you’re looking for. Whether you’re searching for a military promotion, medal, honour or award, or for information about a specific company or individual, the Gazette research service can help.

Our digital archives contain millions of Gazette notices. With a printed archive dating back to 1665, and comprehensive online access, The Gazette offers an unparalleled library of records.

Our guide and video on searching offers useful tips, but if you need extra assistance, or just don’t have the time, our team of experts will complete an exhaustive search of our archives and indexes. The cost of this service is just £30 per individual name (or company).

All we need from you are a few details, and once we have discovered the record, we’ll send you a personalised results document in the form of a pdf. Your report will contain sources from the Gazette only; if you have already found a single-line citation, bear in mind that there may not be more material in the Gazette other than what you have already found.

To send us your request, please complete this form and send it to customer.services@thegazette.co.uk. You can also call us on 0333 200 2434, or post your completed form to:
