TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of the following areas of public highway:
The areas to be stopped up forming the following lengths of highway and footway known as Chambers Street and Llewellyn Street measuring the following maximum distances and widths: 1.484 x 1.402 metres from the corner of Chambers Street and Llewellyn Street; 0.948 x 0.239 on Llewellyn Street; 15.620 x 1.577 metres on Llewellyn Street; and 3.521 x 0.369 metres on Chambers Street.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to St James Group Limited, St James House, 26 Bridge Street, Leatherhead, Surrey KT22 8BZ by the Council of the London Borough of Southwark for the full planning permission on 8 October 2010 under reference LBS Reg. No 07-AP-1262.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND THE RELEVANT PLANS MAY BE INSPECTED by way of appointment during the 28 days commencing on Thursday 27 February 2014 at 160 Tooley Street, London, SE1 2TZ by calling 020 7525 2135 quoting reference (Chambers Street/Llewellyn Street– Stopping up Order). A copy may also be viewed on the Council’s website http://www.southwark.gov.uk/highwayclosures
ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within the period of 28 days commencing on Thursday 27 February 2014 by written notice to the Director of Legal Services quoting reference (LEG/RP/PL/RE040/60361/RM).
In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.
