NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to prevent obstructive parking, improve traffic flow, sightlines and general road safety, the general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order would be to introduce new and amend existing waiting restrictions in the borough, as follows.

New ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions would be provided around the junctions of:

Hayward Road and Birley Road N20; Hayward Road and Naylor Road N20; Longland Drive and Greenway N20; Ridgeview Road and Charnwood Place N20; Totteridge Lane and West Hill Way N20; Granville Road and The Vale NW2; Granville Road and Nant Road NW2; Lanacre Avenue and Cherry Close NW9; Lanacre Avenue and Hazel Close NW9; Endersleigh Gardens and Richmond Gardens NW4; Endersleigh Gardens and Colindeep Gardens NW4; Endersleigh Gardens and Barton Close NW4; Wildwood Road and Ingram Avenue NW11; Wildwood Road and Fairway Close NW11; Windsor Road and Hendon Lane N3;

New ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions would be provided on certain lengths of:

Essex Park N3; The Loning NW9;

New ‘at any time’ loading restrictions would be provided on certain lengths of:

Armitage Road NW11

New 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions would be provided on certain lengths of:

Granville Road NW2; Wildwood Road NW11; Nether Street N3; Grahame Park Way NW9

The Order would also increase the operational hours of the existing 2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday waiting restriction at the junction of Holden Road and Guildown Avenue, N20 to ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions.

The Order would also introduce new 8am to 10am and 4pm to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday loading restrictions on certain lengths of Armitage Road NW11.

The Order would also change the operational hours of a certain length of existing 11am to 12 midday, Monday to Friday waiting restriction in Hale Lane so that it would operate between 1pm and 2pm on Monday to Friday.

The Order would also introduce a length of 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday waiting restriction on Warwick Close EN4.

The Order would also increase the operational hours of the existing 8am to 4.30pm waiting restrictions at the junction of Windsor Drive and Bohun Grove, EN4, to ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions.

The Order would also increase the operational hours of the existing 8am to 6.30pm waiting restrictions at the junction of Nether Street and Elm Park Road, N3 to ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions.

The Order would also extend the ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in Colindeep Lane at the junction with The Loning to improve sightlines and safety at this location.

The Prohibition of Stopping outside Schools Order would introduce a new No Stopping ‘school keep clear’ zig-zag markings, operational Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, opposite Danegrove School, Windsor Drive EN4.

The Golders Green Parking Places Order would provide additional resident permit parking spaces outside Nos 124 and 126 West Heath Road.

The Mill Hill Parking Places Order would convert certain resident parking bays on Hale Drive, within the vicinity of Matilda Marks Kennedy School to pay by phone parking places and also would convert a short length of 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday waiting restriction in Hale Drive to long stay pay by phone parking 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday (6.5 hour maximum stay, with a tariff of £1.50).

The Church End Parking Places Order would convert certain short stay pay by phone bays Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm in Hendon Avenue N3 to dual use (short stay pay by phone and permit bay Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm).

The North Finchley Parking Places Order would remove a length of resident permit parking place outside St Elizabeth’s Court, Mayfield Avenue N12, which would be replaced with a length of Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm waiting restriction.

A copy of the proposed Order, a plan of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at:
