THE NEWHAM (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO. 2, 1966) (REVOCATION) TRAFFIC ORDER 2013

OAK CRESCENT AND ORDNANCE ROAD

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under Sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The effect of the Newham (London Traffic) (Prescribed Routes) (West Ham) (No. 2, 1965) (Amendment) Traffic Order 2013 would be to amend The London Traffic (Prescribed Routes) (West Ham) (No. 2) Regulations 1965 so as to allow vehicles to turn left from Oak Crescent into Barking Road E16.
  • 3 The effect of the Newham (Prescribed Route) (No. 2, 1966) (Revocation) Traffic Order 2013 would be to revoke the Newham (Prescribed Route) (No. 2) Traffic Order 1966 so as to allow vehicles to turn left from Ordnance Road into Barking Road E16.
  • 4 Copies of the proposed Orders, together with documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road E16 2QU until six weeks after the date on which the Orders are made or until the proposed Orders are withdrawn, as appropriate.
  • 5 Further information can be obtained by telephoning 020 3373 1395.
  • 6 All objections and other representations relating to either of the proposed Orders must be made in writing by 11 October 2013. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. They should be sent to the Head of Highways and Traffic, London Borough of Newham, 3rd Floor West, Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, London E16 2QU or by email, quoting the Order title, to: traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk
  • 7 Anyone objecting to either of the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council may be obliged to make any comments in respect of this Notice, open to public inspection.
