  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Havering, hereinafter called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The effect of the Disc Parking Places Order would be to remove the existing disc parking places on the lengths of street specified in Schedule 1A to this Notice.
  • 3 The effect of the Free Parking Places Order would be to remove the existing free parking place on the length of street specified in Schedule 1B to this Notice.
  • 4 The effect of the Pay & Display Parking Places Order would be to provide pay & display parking places:—
    • a operative between 8.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Sundays inclusive, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1A to this Notice at a cost of 20 pence for the first hour then £1.40 for up to 1 hour 30 minutes and £2.00 for the maximum period of 2 hours and where return to that same parking place would be prohibited for 2 hours.;
    • b operative between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1B to this Notice at a cost of 20 pence for the two hours and 50 pence for the maximum period of 3 hours and where return to that same parking place would be prohibited for 2 hours.
  • 5 The general effect of the Free Parking Places Disabled Persons Order would be to provide a disabled persons parking place, where a vehicle displaying a valid disabled persons badge may be left at any time, on the length of street specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
  • 6 Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Orders being amended, together with the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be inspected until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Traffic & Parking Control, StreetCare, Mercury House, Mercury Gardens, Romford, Essex RM1 3SL.
  • 7 Any person desiring to object to the proposals or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection or representations and the grounds thereof to the David Pritchard, Traffic & Parking Control Group Manager, StreetCare, Mercury House, Mercury Gardens, Romford, Essex RM1 3SL, quoting reference LBH/715 to arrive by 21 August 2013.

South Street

  • a the west side, from a point 15.2 metres south of the south-eastern kerb-line of Regarth Avenue extending southward for a distance of 22.9 metres;
  • b the west side, from a point 42.8 metres south of the south-eastern kerb-line of Regarth Avenue extending southward for a distance of 17.8 metres.

SCHEDULE 1B

Balgores Crescent, the south-west side, from a point opposite the south-eastern facing building line of No.5 Balgores Crescent extending south-eastward for a distance of 37 metres.

SCHEDULE 2

Avenue Road, the south-west side, from a point 1.5 metres south-east of the south-eastern boundary of No. 35 Avenue Road extending south-eastward for a distance of 6 metres.
