RYE LANE - RIGHT TURN PROHIBITION AT ITS JUNCTION WITH COPELAND ROAD AND HEATON ROAD
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (RYE LANE AREA) (NO. 4) TRAFFIC ORDER 2013
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the council of the London Borough of Southwark (‘the council’) propose to make the above-mentioned order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
- 2 The general effect of the order would be:
- a to prohibit all vehicles proceeding in the RYE LANE spur road (the arm of Rye Lane which fronts Nos. 231-239 Rye Lane) from turning right into Heaton Road at its junction with Copeland Road and Heaton Road; and
- b to consolidate the provisions of the London Borough of Southwark (Prescribed routes) (Rye Lane area) (No. 2) Traffic Order 2010 and the London Borough of Southwark (Prescribed routes) (Rye Lane area) (No. 3) Traffic Order 2011.

- 5 Persons wishing to object to or make representations in respect of the proposals should send a statement in writing stating the grounds of their objection or representation by e-mail to traffic.orders@southwark.gov.uk, or by post to ‘Traffic orders officer, Public realm projects, Southwark council, Environment and leisure, P.O. Box 64529, London SE1P 5LX’, quoting reference PRP/PD/TMO1314-004, to be received no later than 18 July 2013.
