THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (North East) (No.15) Order 2013” authorising the stopping up of the whole of an unnamed highway connecting Tennyson Road and Dale Street and a length of an unnamed highway lying between Tennyson Road and Dale Street at Chilton, in the County of Durham to enable development as permitted by Durham County Council, reference 7/2012/0431/DM.

COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7AR (quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/823) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Chilton Library, Durham Road, Chilton, Ferryhill, County Durham, DH17 0EX.

ANY PERSON aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 9 May 2013 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
