THE GLA ROADS (LONDON BOROUGH OF HACKNEY) (BUS PRIORITY) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2009 VARIATION ORDER 2013
- 1 Transport for London, hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
- 2 The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:
- a increase the length of the parking bay outside Nos. 114-120 Stoke Newington High Street by 8 metres;
- b replace the parking bay located outside Nos. 106-100 Stoke Newington High Street to loading and disabled parking with ‘No stopping on any day’ 7am-7pm except loading maximum 20 mins and disabled vehicles maximum 3 hours;
- c decrease the length of the loading and disabled parking bay outside Nos. 108-112 Stoke Newington High Street by 8 metres;
- d replace the loading and disabled parking bay outside Nos. 103-109 Stoke Newington High Street with loading only, ‘No stopping on any day’ 7am-7pm except 7am-1pm loading maximum 20 mins;
- e change the loading and disabled persons’ vehicles parking times outside Nos. 147-159 Stoke Newington High Street to ‘No stopping on any day’ 7am-7pm except 7am-1pm loading maximum 20 mins and disabled persons’ vehicles maximum 3 hours;
- f move the loading and disabled persons’ vehicles parking outside Nos. 140-144 A10 Stoke Newington High Street to outside Nos. 144-154 Stoke Newington High Street with the following times, ‘No stopping on any day’ 7am-7pm except 10am-4pm loading maximum 20 mins and disabled persons’ vehicles maximum 3 hours;
- g increase the length of the loading and disabled bay outside Nos. 120-128 Stoke Newington High Street by 2 metres and change the restrictions to ‘No stopping on any day’ 7am-7pm except loading maximum 20 mins and disabled persons’ vehicles maximum 3 hours;
- h change the loading bay times outside Nos. 193-213 Stoke Newington High Street to ‘No stopping on any day’ 7am-7pm except 7am-1pm loading maximum 20 mins;
- i change the loading bay times outside Nos. 177-181 Stoke Newington High Street to ‘No stopping on any day’ 7am-7pm except 7am-1pm loading maximum 20mins;
- j introduce a new 10 metre loading bay outside Nos. 202-204 and 206 Stoke Newington High Street, ‘No stopping on any day’ 7am-7pm except 10am-4pm loading maximum 20 mins;
- k replace the parking bay out side Nos. 23-31 Rectory Road to ‘No stopping on any day’ 7am-7pm except 10am-4pm loading maximum 20 mins and disabled persons’ vehicles maximum 3 hours;
- l introduce a new ‘No stopping at any time’ restriction outside Nos. 159-167 Stoke Newington High Street;
- m introduce a new ‘No stopping at any time’ restriction outside No. 108 Stoke Newington High Street;
- n introduce a new ‘No stopping at any time’ restriction outside No.s 154-164 Stoke Newington High Street;
- o increase the length of the bus lane outside No.125 Stoke Newington High Street by 20 metres;
- p formalise existing on-street controls on Clapton Common.
- 3 The roads which would be affected by the Orders are A10 Stoke Newington High Street and A10 Rectory Road and Clapton Common in the London Borough of Hackney.
- 4 A copy of the Orders, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Orders and copies of any Orders revoked, suspended or varied by the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of:

- 5 All objections and other representations to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Streets Traffic Order Team, Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8NJ quoting reference TD/PI/STOT/TRO, GLA/2013/0007 and GLA/2013/0008, to arrive before 17 th May 2013. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
