NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to:—

• a introduce new disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• b remove the disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• c remove 2 disabled bays in Ravensbourne Road, Bromley and replace with a loading bay as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• d realign the parking bays, with bay widths of 2.85m, on the southern arm of Station Square, Petts Wood;
• e cause any vehicle travelling in the nearside lane of the western carriageway of Sevenoaks Way, Orpington on reaching the junction with Broomwood Road, St Paul’s Cray to turn left into Broomwood Road;
• f introduce waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• g remove the loading bay outside Nos. 322 to 326 High Street, Orpington and extend the existing bus cage by 7m.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environmental Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/593 not later than 1st May 2013.

Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
