NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Orders would be to:—
- a introduce new disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
- b remove the disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
- c remove 2 disabled bays in Ravensbourne Road, Bromley and replace with a loading bay as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
- d realign the parking bays, with bay widths of 2.85m, on the southern arm of Station Square, Petts Wood;
- e cause any vehicle travelling in the nearside lane of the western carriageway of Sevenoaks Way, Orpington on reaching the junction with Broomwood Road, St Paul’s Cray to turn left into Broomwood Road;
- f introduce waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
- g remove the loading bay outside Nos. 322 to 326 High Street, Orpington and extend the existing bus cage by 7m.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environmental Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/593 not later than 1st May 2013.
Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

BREWERY ROAD, Bromley, the north side, from the north eastern kerbline of Cottage Avenue north eastwards for a distance of 10m.
BROOMWOOD ROAD, St. Paul’s Cray, (a) the south side, from the western kerbline of Sevenoaks Way westwards for a distance of 17m; (b) the north side, from the western kerbline of Sevenoaks Way westwards for a distance of 18m.
COTTAGE AVENUE, Bromley, (a) the south west side, from the north western kerbline of Brewery Road north westwards to the party wall of Nos. 1 & 3; (b) the north east side, from the north western kerbline of Brewery Road north westwards to the party wall of Nos. 2 & 4.
KENT HOUSE ROAD, Beckenham, the west side, from a point 12m south of the southern flank wall of No. 288 southwards for a distance of 60m.
KINGS AVENUE, Bromley, the south east side, from the party wall of Nos. 69 & 71 south westwards to a point 10m south west of the south western kerbline of Thirlmere Rise.
SEVENOAKS WAY, Orpington, the west side, from a point 15m south of the southern kerbline of Broomwood Road northwards to a point 14m north of the northern kerbline of Broomwood Road.
SOUTHBOROUGH LANE, Petts Wood, the north side, from a point 4m north east of the eastern kerbline of St. Augustine’s Avenue south westwards to a point 11m south west of the western kerbline of St. Augustine’s Avenue.
ST. AUGUSTINE’S AVENUE, Bromley, (a) the west side, from the north western kerbline of Southborough Lane northwards for a distance of 8m; (b) the east side, from the north western kerbline of Southborough Lane northwards for a distance of 18m.
THIRLMERE RISE, Bromley, (a) the south west side, from the south eastern kerbline of Kings Avenue south eastwards to the party wall of Nos. 2 & 4; (b) the north east side, from the south eastern kerbline of Kings Avenue south eastwards for a distance of 9m.
No Waiting between 8am and 12noon on Wednesdays only:—
SPRINGFIELD GARDENS, West Wickham, the north side, from a point 5m east of the eastern kerbline of Grosvenor Road eastwards to a point 3m west of the eastern boundary of No. 9.
