TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of Front Street comprising part of its footway abutting the whole of the southern boundary of No. 40 Front Street at Pontefract, in the City of Wakefield.

IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable development to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to F J Architects Ltd by City of Wakefield Metropolitan District Council on 3 September 2009 under reference 09/01159/FUL.

COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED at all reasonable hours during 28 days commencing on 31January 2013 at Pontefract Library, Shoemarket, Pontefract WF8 1BD and may be obtained free of charge from the Secretary of State at the offices of the Department for Transport (quoting reference NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/689) at the address stated below.

ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within the period of 28 days commencing on 31January 2013 by notice to the Secretary of State, quoting the above reference, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, 2nd Floor, Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YH.
