EAST DULWICH ROAD - INTRODUCTION OF A ‘ZEBRA’ PEDESTRIAN CROSSING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201*
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the council of the London Borough of Southwark (‘the council’) propose to make the above-mentioned orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
- 2 The general effect of the order would be, in EAST DULWICH ROAD, to introduce a new length of ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions on the south side of the road, between a point 11 metres west of the common boundary of No. 1 Devonshire Terrace and No. 21 East Dulwich Road to its junction with Solway Road. The existing 7 am to 7 pm waiting and loading restrictions at this location would be removed.
- 3 FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the council has approved under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the construction of a ‘zebra’ pedestrian crossing at the following location:- EAST DULWICH ROAD, the centre of which would be located 12 metres west of the western kerb-line of Fenwick Road. ‘Zig-zag’ markings, on which vehicles would be prohibited from waiting at all times, would be laid either side of the crossing:- (i)on the north side, between a point 4 metres west of the common boundary of Nos. 16 and 18 East Dulwich Road and the western kerb-line of Fenwick Road; and (ii)on the south side, between a point 13 metres east of the eastern boundary of No. 11 East Dulwich Road and a point 1.5 metres west of the western kerb-line of Solway Road.

Box 64529, London SE1P 5LX’, quoting reference PRP/PD/TMO1213-030, to be received no later than 07 February 2013.
