Notice

The Trustees of the Plan hereby give notice, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Plan is being wound up following the transfer of all of its assets to the Balfour Beatty Pension Fund on 30 June 2012 (when the Plan and the Balfour Beatty Pension Fund were, effectively, merged). The Trustees of the Plan are anxious to trace all former members of this pension scheme (and its predecessors) and their beneficiaries who are, or think they may be, entitled to benefits under the Plan and who have yet to be contacted in relation to the transfer.

If you were an employee of one of the companies listed above and were a member of the Plan (or you are a widow, widower or other dependant of a member of the Plan) and you have not received written communication regarding the transfer referred to above (but believe you are still entitled to benefits under the Plan) you should contact the Secretary to the Trustees at: PB UK Group Pension Plan, c/o Balfour Beatty, Kings Business Park, Merseyside, L34 1PJ. You should provide details of your current address, your full name (or the name of the member, if different), your national insurance number and a note of any benefits to which you claim you are entitled. If you are not a member, please also state the capacity in which you are making a claim.

You should make any claims in writing to the address above not later than 2 months from the date of this notice. After that date, the Plan will be wound up and the Trustees will have no liability to any person claiming an entitlement after that date whose claim was not notified to them.

For the avoidance of doubt, claims need not be made if you have received notice of the transfer referred to above or you were already in receipt of a pension under the Plan at the time of that transfer.

Please note that this notice does not concern the PB UK Defined Contribution Pension Plan.
