NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF STOPPING UP ORDER

STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 247

LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (EAST STREET BRENTFORD) STOPPING UP ORDER 2012

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of the highway including carriageway and footpaths described in the First Schedule, namely that area known as East Street, Brentford TW8  8LR in the London Borough of Hounslow shown on plan reference TQ12777SW.

The Order is to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to ISIS Waterside Regeneration by the London Borough of Hounslow on 21 March 2012 under reference 00297/R/P3.

A COPY OF THE CONFIRMED ORDER AND ORDER PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED free of charge at the Reception Desk between 09:00 and 17:00 hours at the London Borough of Hounslow, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN. A copy may also be viewed on the Council’s website at

ANY PERSON aggrieved by the Order may make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 on the ground that it is either not within the appropriate power or a procedural requirement has not been complied with and such application must be made within six weeks from the date on which this notice is first published as required by section 252(10) of the Act.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Development

Outline planning permission for the repair, restoration, conversion and extension of retained elements of the existing warehouse buildings to provide residential (C3), business (B1); waterside restaurant/café (A3/A4) and waterside leisure and community uses (D1/D2) with associated plant, servicing and storage. Retention of ‘art deco’ frontages to provide business (B1) uses. Redevelopment of bus depot to provide improved facilities. Redevelopment of remaining land to provide residential (C3), business (B1), leisure/community (D1/D2), restaurant/café (A3/A4) uses with associated landscaping, access, parking, supporting infrastructure and pedestrian/cycle bridge.
