  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, hereinafter called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Legislation: Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Orders would be to introduce new disabled persons’ parking places in which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ ‘blue badge’ would be permitted to wait at any time, at the following locations (Note: the introduction of disabled persons parking places may result in a loss of existing parking facilities as stated below):—

Bedford Road, N22, opposite Nos. 7, 8 and 9; Beresford Road, N8, outside Nos. 133 and 135 (loss of residents parking); Bourn Avenue, N15, outside No. 18; Broadwater Road, N17, outside No. 13 (moved from outside No. 9; Radley Road, N17, at the side of No. 37 Bruce Grove; Collingwood Road, N15, outside No. 36 (loss of residents parking); Cornwall Avenue, N22, outside No. 31; Farningham Road, N17, outside No. 20 (loss of Matchday parking); Felixstowe Road, N17, outside No. 10; Frinton Road, N15, outside Nos. 23 and 25; Fryatt Road, N15, outside No. 11 (loss of Matchday parking); Gladstone Avenue, N22, outside No. 214 (loss of residents parking); Gloucester Road, N17, outside No. 78; Umfreville Road, N4, outside No. 92 (loss of residents parking); Grove House Road, N8, at the side of No. 142 (moving bay eastward by 6 metres); Higham Road, N17, at the side of No. 108 Downhills Park Road; Hornsey Park Road, N8, outside No. 122; St. Paul’s Road, N17, at the side of No. 55 Lansdowne Road; Grove House Road, N8, at the side of No. 142 Middle Lane; Lausanne Road, N8, outside No. 57; Somerset Close, N17, at the side of No. 263 Lordship Lane; Lyndhurst Road, N22, outside No. 23; Maryland Road, N22, outside No. 155/157; Mayfair Gardens, N17, outside No. 30; Middle Lane, N8, the west side, outside No. 216; Mount Pleasant Villas, N4, outside No. 2 (loss of residents parking); Sandford Avenue, N22, outside No. 12 (loss of residents parking); Stanhope Gardens, N4, extend bay to 6.6 metres in length; Steele Road, N17, outside No. 47; Sydney Road, N8, outside No. 121; Tregaron Avenue, N8, outside No. 32 (loss of residents parking); Truro Road, N22, outside No. 117; Vincent Road, N15, outside No. 19 (loss of residents parking); Willoughby Road, N17, outside No. 22.

  • 3 Copies of the proposed Orders and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected from the date on which this Notice is published, during normal office working hours at Sustainable Transport Group, River Park House, 2nd Floor (South), 225 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ .
  • 4 Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the Sustainable Transport Group, River Park House, 2nd Floor (South), 225 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ within 21 days of the date on which this Notice is published.
