Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Peterborough, the Highway Authority for the area of highway land referred to in the Schedule hereto, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court, Bridge Street, Peterborough on the 4 _th September 2012 for an Order under Section 116 of the Highway Act 1980 that the area of highway land referred to in the Schedule shall be stopped up for the purposes of all traffic so that the same shall cease to be highway on the grounds that it is unnecessary.

A plan (“the Order Plan”) showing edged red the area of highway land to which the application relates may be seen free of charge at the Town Hall, Bridge Street, Peterborough; the Central Library, Broadway, Peterborough; Bayard Place, Broadway Peterborough during normal opening hours.

Any person who has an interest in the land abutting on or served by the said area of highway land or uses the area of highway land or is otherwise aggrieved has a right to be heard by the Court on the Hearing of the application by the Council.

Any person intending to attend the Hearing of this application is requested to inform the Solicitor to the Council, Town Hall, Bridge Street, Peterborough (Quoting reference RL/6672) before the date of the Hearing of their intention to appear.

Land fronting the properties at 8a Crowland Road Eye and 10 Crowland Road Eye and to the side of 23 Whitby Avenue and 25 Whitby Avenue Eye Peterborough measuring 0.8 metres by 19.6 metres being an area of 15.68 metres squared and shown edged red on the Order Plan
