THE CROYDON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (NO. 7) TRAFFIC ORDER 2012

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 9 July 2012 made the above-mentioned Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
  • 2 The general effect of the Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. 7) Traffic Order 2012 would be to:
    • a revoke the disabled parking places outside Nos. 5 and 7 Brunel Close, Upper Norwood; outside No. 4 Dundee Road, South Norwood; outside No. 32 Gloucester Road, Croydon; outside No. 32 Holland Road, South Norwood; outside No. 80 Kilmartin Avenue, Norbury; outside No. 139 King Henry’s Drive, New Addington; outside Nos. 295 and 296 Longheath Gardens, Croydon; outside No. 55 Nicola Close, South Croydon; outside No. 219 Norbury Avenue, Thornton Heath; outside Nos. 55 and 57 Pagehurst Road, Croydon; in St Andrew’s Road, Coulsdon, adjacent to No. 2 Lyndhurst Road; outside No. 7 Strathyre Avenue, Norbury and outside No. 89a Woodside Road, South Norwood;
    • b designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit in:
  • 3 A copy of the Order which will come into operation on 16 July 2012 and of all associated Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the “Access Croydon Facility”, Ground Floor, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey.
  • 4 Copies of the Order may be obtained from Parking Services, Planning and Environment Department, P.O. Box 1462, Croydon, CR9 1WX.
  • 5 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
