THE BEXLEY (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (AMENDMENT NO ) TRAFFIC ORDER 20XX
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley, propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 6, and 124 of and Legislation section: Part IV of Legislation section: Schedule 9 to the Legislation: Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Legislation section: Section 8 of and Legislation section: Part 1 of Legislation section: Schedule 5 to the Legislation: Local Government Act 1985 .
- 2 The general effect of the Bexley (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) (Amendment No…) Traffic Order 20XX would be to further amend the Legislation: Bexley (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) Traffic Order 2010, by changing the operational timings of all existing ‘School Keep Clear’ markings so that they operate between the period 8am - 4.30pm (Monday to Friday), throughout the year.
- 3 Copies of the proposed Order, the Legislation: Bexley (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) Traffic Order 2010 (and Orders that have amended that Order), the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and a map which indicates the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB .

- 5 Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to the Traffic and Parking Services, P O Box 323, Broadway, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 9GQ within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
- 6 Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Legislation: Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
