THE EALING (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. 119) ORDER 2012

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing on the 26th April 2012 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be to:

(c) amend “at any time” waiting restrictions on the north-west side of Crown Street to allow for the amended parking layout; and

(d) make certain other changes to bring existing orders in line with the current on-street layout.

  • 3 The general effect of the Free Loading Places Order will be to:
    • a relocate north-eastwards the loading place on the north-west side of Crown Street;
    • b extend the existing loading place on Horn Lane south-eastwards to the south-eastern extremity of the lay-by outside Nos. 3 and 5 Horn Lane; and
    • c make certain other changes to bring existing orders in line with the current on-street layout.
  • 4 The general effect of the Free Parking Places Order will be to re-designate as three parking places the free parking place on the north-west side of Crown Street and provide that those parking places will be available for the leaving of vehicles for a maximum of one hour between 8 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Monday to Saturdays inclusive.
  • 5 The general effect of the Pay and Display Parking Places Order will be to make certain other changes to bring existing orders in line with the current on-street layout.
  • 6 The general effect of the Disabled Persons Parking Places Order will be to
    • a provide a disabled persons’ parking place for one vehicle on the north-west side of Crown Street opposite No. 10 Crown Street; and
    • b make certain other changes to bring existing orders in line with the current on-street layout.
  • 7 The Orders, which will come into operation on 30th April 2012, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until the 7th June 2012.
  • 8 If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which any of the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
