THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that she has made an Order under Legislation section: Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (Yorkshire and the Humber) (No. 12) Order 2012” authorising the stopping up of a length of Oaklands Road from its junction with Bagley Lane at Farsley, in the City of Leeds to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Mr Edmund Thornhill by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on 8 March 2010 under reference P/09/01601/OT (and Appeal reference APP/N4720/A/09/2111698) and reserved matters approval granted to Bellway Homes Yorkshire by Leeds City Council on 21 October 2011 under reference 11/02051/RM.

COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, 2nd Floor, Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YH (quoting reference NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/462) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Farsley Library, Old Road, Farsley, LS28 5DH .

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 06 April 2012 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
