THE GREENWICH (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 52) ORDER 2012

THE GREENWICH (NEW ELTHAM) (PARKING PLACES) (NO. 2) (AMENDMENT NO. 7) ORDER 2012

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Greenwich on 30th March 2012 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Orders will come into operation on 4th April 2012.
  • 2 The general effect of the Orders will be to:
    • a extend the permit holders’ parking place on the south side of Blanmerle Road, adjacent to No. 103 Green Lane, by 5.5 metres (an equivalent length of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions will be removed to accommodate the extension of the parking place);
    • b remove the permit holders’ parking place outside No. 166 Green Lane and replace it with an equivalent length of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions; and
    • c introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions:

(i) at the junction of Crouch Croft and William Barefoot Drive ; and

  • ii on the south-west side of Elmbrook Gardens, for a distance of 15.8 metres across the mouth of the entrance to Rickyard Path.

  • 4 The Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at the Directorate of Regeneration, Enterprise and Skills, Strategic Transportation, Royal Borough of Greenwich, The Woolwich Centre, 35 Wellington Street, SE18 6HQ.
  • 5 If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
