THE CROYDON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (NEIGHBOURHOOD CARE CONCESSIONARY PERMIT) (NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2012

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 20 February 2012 made the above-mentioned Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
  • 2 The general effect of the Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. 3) Traffic Order 2012 would be to:
    • a revoke the disabled parking places outside No. 69 and No. 76 Beauchamp Road, Upper Norwood; outside No. 84 Belmont Road, South Norwood; outside No. 40 Bishops Park Road, Norbury; outside Nos. 39/40/41 Claygate Crescent, New Addington; outside Nos. 10 and 12 Cornwall Road, Croydon; outside No. 38 Dulverton Road, Selsdon; outside Nos. 18 and 20 Ena Road, Norbury; outside No. 34 Grange Road, South Croydon; outside No. 107 Harrington Road, South Norwood; outside Nos. 2 and 3 Keens Road, Croydon; outside Nos. 13 and 15 Lynwood Gardens, Croydon; outside No. 39 Meadvale Road, Addiscombe; outside No. 40 Northampton Road, Croydon; outside No. 17 Oaklands Avenue, Thornton Heath; outside Nos. 15 and 17 Stanley Grove, Croydon; outside No. 54 Whitefield Avenue, Purley and outside No. 28 Woodside Court Road, Addiscombe;
    • b designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit in:
  • 3 The general effect of The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Neighbourhood Care Concessionary Permit) (No. 1) Traffic Order 2007 (Amendment No. 1) Traffic Order 2012 would be to reduce in length a neighbourhood care bay in Shirley Road to accommodate the introduction of 2 disabled parking bays.
  • 4 A copy of the Order which will come into operation on 27 February2012 and of all associated Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the “Access Croydon Facility”, Ground Floor, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey.
  • 5 Copies of the Order may be obtained from Parking Services, Planning and Environment Department, PO Box 1462, Croydon, CR9 1WX.
  • 6 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
