OLYMPIC ROUTE NETWORK
Note: This Notice relates to the proposed introduction of traffic management measures on sections of the Olympic Route Network between Lord’s Cricket Ground and Marylebone Road including Lisson Grove, Park Road, Rossmore Road, Gloucester Place and Baker Street. It is anticipated the measures will be operational for a period of up to 3 weeks, whilst the order is in force. The measures will become effective and be removed as close as operationally possible, to the start and end of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games
OLYMPIC DELIVERY AUTHORITY (NO TV18) TRAFFIC ORDER 201–
- 1 The Olympic Delivery Authority gave notice on 30th September 2011 that it intends to make the above named Order, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 14(1) of the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006, under Section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
- 2 The Olympic Delivery Authority now gives notice that changes have been made to the measures to be imposed by the above named Order.
- 3 The general nature and effect of the Order will be to introduce traffic management measures on the Olympic Route Network (ORN) to implement the Olympic Transport Plan and to facilitate transport services in connection with the London Olympics whilst minimising the impact of the Games on residents, businesses and all other road users.
- 4 The general effect of the Order will be to:
- a introduce sections of ‘Games Lane’ in Lisson Grove, Park Road and Gloucester Place.
- b restrict/prohibit some vehicle movement(s) at the following junctions:-
Lisson Grove/St John’s Wood Road, Lisson Grove/Lodge Road, Lisson Grove/Church St, Lisson Grove/Lilestone St, Lisson Grove/Rossmore Rd, Clarence Gate/Park Road/Allsop Place/Baker Street.
- c amend the waiting, loading or stopping restrictions at various locations on Lisson Grove, Rossmore Road, Park Road, Gloucester Place, Baker Street.
- 5 A copy of the draft Order, including drawings showing the location and effect of the Order can be viewed on the Transport for London (TfL) website at www.tfl.gov.uk/orn or inspected during normal office hours at the offices of :

- 6 All objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing and may either be sent to the ORN TRO Team, 5th Floor Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8NJ or alternatively emailed to orntrafficorders@London2012.com. Objections must specify the grounds on which they are being made.
- 7 All objections and representations must quote reference No TV18 and be received no later than 5th December 2011.
